Franz Grillparzer commented, “Trying to describe music with words is like hearing about a good dinner”.  This truth applies to the cultural activities of south Burgenland.  Why talk about the variety when, on holiday, you can enjoy it just outside your front door. After all, Grillparzer met the people and got to know their culture during his spa treatments in Bad Tatzmannsdorf  (1852).

South Burgenland has so much more to offer now than 160 years ago and the opportunities are limitless.

In the cozy landscape there are rustic wine cellars, countless tradition-conscious museums, fascinating talents, handcrafts traditions passed down through generations, as well as many contemporary artists and designers.
Here you can find people who look for personal contact, not only with each other in music clubs and theatre groups, but also with guests to the region. What more could you ask for - Ideal accommodations in the thermal region  and just outside your door you can begin to experience the flavor of the area: modern and classical music or a juicy roast with cabbage and horseradish.

But, as we already said, „hearing about a good meal“can only describe what can here be experienced directly through the people and the landscape.  In south Burgenland one feels safe and well taken care of.
